Emily founded Mod Talent Partners in 2019 with the goal of bringing a smarter, operator-led approach to executive search. Prior to launching Mod, she served as a Managing Director at JEG Search, an executive search firm specializing in sales, media, and marketing.
Emily brings over 15 years of experience in technology and marketing leadership roles, spanning Fortune 500 companies such as Gap Inc. to high-growth, venture-backed startups like HomeAway/VRBO, which went public and was later acquired by Expedia. Having operated inside a VC-funded tech company through its exit, Emily offers a unique perspective on the critical talent decisions that drive outcomes. Her deep network and first-hand understanding of what it takes to scale provide Mod clients with a true execution advantage.
She holds a BBA in Finance and an MBA in Marketing and Entrepreneurship from the University of Texas. Emily currently serves on the Advisory Board of Golightly, is a former board member of the Hill Country Conservancy. She is actively involved with several Austin-based nonprofits including Meals on Wheels, Eanes Education Foundation, and Helping Hand Home.
Ashley is a seasoned talent partner with over a decade of experience leading demand generation and customer success functions at high-growth technology companies spanning sectors such as cybersecurity, fintech, performance optimization, and social impact. Her deep operational background allows her to bring a pragmatic, business-first lens to every search engagement.
Ashley began her career in the nonprofit sector and higher education fundraising before making a purposeful transition into tech. That career shift sparked a passion for helping others navigate pivotal transitions and uncover opportunities where their transferable skills can truly shine. Today, she leverages that passion and perspective to help clients define what great talent looks like—and connect with candidates who will drive growth and impact.
Ashley lives in Austin with her husband, Josh, and their daughter, Lia.
